Equipment to Move to Binghamton

TOYX owns or leases 28 pieces of historic railroad equipment. This fleet has been hand-selected for historic preservation and is used for various community service events throughout the year. It is proposed to move the following 23 railcars to Carrier Services Group’s facility in Binghamton, New York for long-term storage as well as mechanical and cosmetic maintenance by TOYX volunteers as needed.

It is proposed to bring the cars to the facility in stages as initial paint work is completed off-site and after the switch/rail service to the facility has been restored by the New York, Susquehanna & Western Railway.
